Since 1998 a small team has taken a cross to the centre of Reading once a week to stand and pray for the town.
The team is made up of Christians from different local congregations.
Our hope is very simple – that people will see the cross, be challenged by it and the words on it and be pointed towards Christ.
We are there to pray for the town and for change. We are there to offer prayer for individuals. We are there to engage people with Jesus.
