Impact Reading was a vision of the Reading Christian Network in the early 2000’s. The core of that vision was for the Church in Reading to “Impact Reading” through all the ministries that exist working together.
To a large extent the vision has already been effective in that a good number of local Christian Social Action (Kingdom) ministries have built relationship, interacting, mutually referring people in need of each other’s ministries and encouraging one another.
This site exists in the hope that it will help in pulling together all the Christian Charities across Reading and making us all more aware of one another and what is on offer for people in need across “Greater Reading”.
From 2020 Reading Christian Network has been renamed “Transform Reading” and is much more focussed on kingdom ministry, making a separate “Impact Reading” sire somewhat redundant.
