Who can be a member?

Membership of the association is available to organizations only.   There is no provision for individuals to join the association.

Applicants must be trusted/accredited Christian organizations that are willing to subscribe to the Whitley SALT Christian Ethos Statement.

They must be a Church or a Charity registered with the Charities Commission and must be able to demonstrate that they have a Quality Management System in place that covers:

1. Data Protection
2. Protection of vulnerable adults
3. Child Protection
4. Health and Safety
5. Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checking protocols for volunteers and staff
6. Up to date Liability Insurance of at least £ 5,000,000
7. A Christian Statement of Faith that is comparable with the evangelical Alliance.
