\/ &#8220;Forbury Vaults&#8221; in Reading<\/p>\n<p>Malcolm Peirce<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-10\" src=\"https:\/\/crosstownservices.co.uk\/readingboilerroom\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2017\/06\/cropped-Logo.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"311\" height=\"192\" \/><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/crosstownservices.co.uk\/readingboilerroom\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-25\" src=\"http:\/\/crosstownservices.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/boiler_logo_anim.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"69\" height=\"68\" \/><\/a>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/crosstownservices.co.uk\/readingboilerroom\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-26\" src=\"http:\/\/crosstownservices.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/24-7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"131\" height=\"59\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I\u00a0 was part of the team that ran <a href=\"https:\/\/crosstownservices.co.uk\/readingboilerroom\"><strong>Reading Boiler Room<\/strong><\/a> in the early 2000&#8217;s<\/p>\n<p>Official title &#8220;<strong>Youth<\/strong> <strong>Director<\/strong>&#8220;. \u00a0 Practical role, yes looking after young people and arranging trips out, but also general handyman!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/crosstownservices.co.uk\/readingboilerroom\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-23\" src=\"http:\/\/crosstownservices.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/brfront1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"276\" height=\"240\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/crosstownservices.co.uk\/readingboilerroom\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-24\" src=\"http:\/\/crosstownservices.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/lastday.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"284\" height=\"191\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I have massively positive memories of the times at the <strong>Boiler Room<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Some weeks I&#8217;d be in almost every day doing something, if not praying.<\/p>\n<p>We had <strong>fun<\/strong>, we got <strong>serious<\/strong>, we saw young people&#8217;s lives touched and indeed changed.<\/p>\n<p>I have had the <strong>joy<\/strong> of meeting some of these guys, now in their thirties and more, who have <strong>found<\/strong> <strong>Jesus<\/strong> as a reality in their lives.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Penny<\/strong>, my wife, would have been so <strong>thrilled<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi This website is simply a personal record of images and thoughts from the two and a quarter years that Reading Boiler Room was open Those of us who were there will never forget the &#8220;White Lion&#8221;
