was part of the team that ran&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/crosstownservices.co.uk\/readingboilerroom\"><strong>Reading Boiler Room<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;in the early 2000\u2019s<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Official title \u201c<strong>Youth<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Director<\/strong>\u201c. &nbsp; Practical role, yes looking after young people and arranging trips out, but also general handyman!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/crosstownservices.co.uk\/readingboilerroom\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/crosstownservices.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/brfront1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/crosstownservices.co.uk\/readingboilerroom\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/crosstownservices.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/lastday.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-24\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have massively positive memories of the times at the&nbsp;<strong>Boiler Room<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some weeks I\u2019d be in almost every day doing something, if not praying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We had&nbsp;<strong>fun<\/strong>, we got&nbsp;<strong>serious<\/strong>, we saw young people\u2019s lives touched and indeed changed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have had the&nbsp;<strong>joy<\/strong>&nbsp;of meeting some of these guys, now in their thirties and more, who have&nbsp;<strong>found<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Jesus<\/strong>&nbsp;as a reality in their lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Penny<\/strong>, my wife, would have been so&nbsp;<strong>thrilled<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>These pages are simply a\u00a0personal\u00a0record of images and thoughts from the two and a quarter years that\u00a0Reading Boiler Room\u00a0was open Those of us who were there will never forget the \u201cWhite Lion\u201d \/ \u201cForbury Vaults\u201d in Reading Malcolm Peirce I&nbsp;
