KAMALA HARRIS and that Bible

It is perhaps to be regretted that we ever adopted the totally unbiblical practice of swearing on the Bible. Jesus was very clear about not swearing by or on anything. One can see why this became a practice though.

The Bible has for centuries been accepted as absolute truth, even being referred to as “the word of God” (N.B. only Jesus is The Word of God). I promise that the evidence I shall give etc. etc. is a pledge that my words will be as reliable as the words in this book. The only snag is whether anyone taking an oath actually believes that.

Kamala made a strong statement when taking her oath by swearing on two bibles, one of which was personal. That should have been an indication that her policies would reflect biblical teaching and morality.
