The incredible thing about the way Jesus<\/strong> revealed God was as “Father<\/strong>“<\/p>\n Whatever God is really like – i.e. beyond our ability to understand – he chooses to reveal himself as like a father.<\/p>\n He asks us to pray by speaking to him as “Our Father<\/strong>“<\/p>\n In fact the word that Paul the apostle used was “Abba” – which literally meant “Daddy<\/strong>” or “Papa<\/strong>“<\/p>\n So not some distant “Father Figure” but rather our Dad in heaven<\/strong>.<\/p>\n I would highly recommend the film “The Shack” as an insight into the nature of God and how “He” feels about you.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The Father The incredible thing about the way Jesus revealed God was as “Father“ Whatever God is really like – i.e. beyond our ability to understand – he chooses to reveal himself as like a father.
